If you have encountered the "USB Accessories Disable" error message which says that you need to unplug the accessory as it has been using too much power, you are advised to do one of the following:
Update the firmware of your USB-C Multimedia adapter.
1.1 Remove all USB devices connected to your computer.
1.2 Restart your computer.
1.3 Connect only the USB-C Multimedia Adapter to your device.
1.4 Perform the firmware update. The firmware updates can be found at the bottom of the product page: moshi.com/usb-c-multimedia-adapter
1.5 After the update is complete, remove and plug in the adapter again.
Troubleshoot your other devices.
2.1 If possible, please try another USB-C port
2.2 Remove any high-power consumption USB devices connected to your computer, such as an external hard drive.
